Same Cuckoo, one difference that matters

These two share a lot: both are made in South Korea, both use fuzzy-logic control, and both carry Cuckoo's full menu set including GABA brown and porridge. The one real difference is the headline feature — the CRP-P0609S cooks under pressure, while the CR-0631F Micom does not. That single choice ripples through the rice, the price and the upkeep, so this comes down to whether pressure is worth it to you. What pressure actually changes

Cooking rice under pressure raises the boiling point, which is the Korean approach and a genuinely different result: a distinctly fluffier, stickier grain, most noticeable on short-grain, sticky and mixed rice. The pressurized CRP is the one to get if that texture is what you are after. The catch is that the pressure advantage is smallest on long-grain and basmati, where a good non-pressure fuzzy-logic cooker essentially matches it — so if you mostly cook loose long-grain rice, you may be paying for a difference you will barely taste.

Power, pot and maintenance

The CRP draws 890 W and has a 304 food-grade stainless pot under the nonstick, a step up in materials. The Micom draws just 580 W— the lowest of any full-size rice cooker on this site, so the cheapest to run — with a plain nonstick pot. The maintenance difference is real and worth weighing: a pressure cooker has a sealing gasket that eventually needs replacing, while the plain Micom has no gasket to manage. If you want the least fuss over years, the Micom is simpler; if you want the best texture, the CRP's pot and pressure justify their keep.

Price and value

The Micom is meaningfully cheaper — it is the value pick in the Cuckoo line, delivering the brand's build and fuzzy-logic control without paying for a pressure mechanism you may not need.
